Noida: In a move to control the spread of Covid-19 virus, Noida Authority has launched a massive drive for sanitisation of entire residential areas in the city.
The drive has been launched amid the rising positive cases of Covid-19 in the national capital of Delhi. The drive has been started on the instructions of Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer, for stopping the spread of Covid-19 virus.
It deployed fire tender tankers and heavy-duty Honda spray machines to ensure sanitisation at every corner of residential pockets and highrises.
The sanitisation was in progress on Wednesday, during which, officials of the authority carried out sanitation of Gaur Sports Woods, a highrise in Sector 79, Supertech Capetown, another highrise in Sector 74, and also in densely populated residential pockets.
An official said that the authority has already planned to cover all residentials areas and highrise like Prateek Edifice in Sector 107, Lotus Panache in Sector 110, ATS One Hamlet in Sector 104, Cleo County in Sector 121, Homes-121 and Today Homes in Sector 135 etc. within the next few days.
