New Delhi: Delhi on Monday reported 148 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,34,072. The number of new cases reported came out of 48,450 tests conducted on the previous day.
Of which, 32,651 were RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 15,799 were rapid antigen tests. The positivity rate was 0.31 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate declined to 6.1 per cent.
5 patients died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,813. 9 deaths were recorded on Sunday, 10 on Saturday, 7 on Friday, 8 on Thursday and 10 on Wednesday.
190 patients recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,21,565 in the national capital. The recovery rate was 98.02 per cent.
The recoveries outnumbered the new cases on Monday. Active cases declined by 47 in the last 24 hours. Delhi has now 1,694 active cases.
Out of the total 9,054 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 8,257 are vacant. A total of 729 patients are in home isolation.
