New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday closed the entry and exit gates of many metro stations due to clashes between protesting farmers and police at several places in the national capital.

The entry and exit gates of all the stations are closed on the Green Line. The closed stations are Brigadier Hoshiar Singh, Bahadurgarh City, Pandit Shree Ram Sharma, Tikri Border, Tikri Kalan, Ghevra, Mundka Industrial Area, Mundka, Rajdhani Park, Nangloi Railway Station and Nangloi.

Moreover, the DMRC took to Twitter to inform about other stations where entry and exit gates were closed. They are ITO, Indraprastha, Samaypur Badli, Rohini Sector 18/19, Haiderpur Badli Mor, Jahangir Puri, Adarsh Nagar, Azadpur, Model Town, GTB Nagar, Vishwavidyalaya, Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines.

Earlier, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had announced new guidelines for commuters travelling on Republic Day 2021. Parking facilities will remain closed from 6 am on January 25 till 2 pm on January 26 across all metro stations.
