Indirapuram: Man thrashes boy mercilessly on road after vehicle collision

New Delhi: An incident of brutally thrashing of an eighth standard boy by a man at busy intersection has caused panic in the locality of Indirapuram. On Thursday evening, a person came out of his Fortuner car and started thrashing scooty-borne boy after a minor collision at Mangal Chowk.

People present at the spot informed that the man started abusing and beating the boy mercilessly after the collision and then took the boy with him in the car. The boy continued to cry for help but nobody came forward. He was beaten to the ground.

Somebody from the crowd made a video of the thrashing. Founder of Federation of Apartment Owners Association (FedAOA), Indirapuram, Alok Kumar shared the video to the police. The police swung into action. As the news spread, the man dropped the boy out of his car and fled away. They identified the attacker as a local resident of Indirapuram. The police have summoned him to the police station.

Meanwhile, local residents are panicked as well as angered over the incident. The video went viral on the social media platforms. People are expressing their anger on the social media. They are also questioning the police and also the people who remained silent spectators while the incident happened. As per police, both the parties have been called to the police station.

The Ghaziabad police released a statement on Twitter. DSP Anshu Jain, Indirapuram said that the attacker has been traced and taken into custody. She said that the required action has been initiated.
