Dog Park at Noida Sector-137 will open on 1st June

Noida: The Noida Horticulture Department has received instructions to inaugurate the first dog park in Uttar Pradesh, located in Sector-137 of Noida, starting from June 1st. This park spread across 3.85 acres, welcomes all pet owners and their furry companions. Entry into the park will be free of charge; however, it will be mandatory to register one's pet dog or cat on the Noida Authority Pets Registration (NAPR) App. Without registration, access to the park will not be permitted.

The Noida Authority plans to enhance the park's facilities in the future. According to officials from the Horticulture Department, every possible amenity that the authority can provide for pets will be made available. Efforts are underway to introduce a swimming pool for dogs in the park from June 1st. Additionally, the authority aims to offer various services in the park, including a pet clinic and canteen facilities.

Notably, the dog park will provide a healthy selection of dog food and drinks, tailored to different seasons. Visitors will also have the opportunity to host dog parties within the park. Dog trainers will be appointed to ensure the smooth functioning of the park's facilities and maintain order. The responsibility for managing the park will be assigned to an agency selected in the near future, ensuring its efficient operation and maintenance. The process of selecting an agency is currently underway.

Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of the Noida Authority, expressed her satisfaction with the completion of the dog park's construction. The department will now focus on making necessary preparations for the park's operations, leading up to its scheduled opening date.

The dog park will offer the following amenities for canine visitors:

1.    Rubber tiles for dog walking
2.    Dog waste disposal stations
3.    Dog shelters
4.    Separate areas for large and small dogs
5.    Water fountains for dogs to drink from
6.    Benches for park visitors
7.    Water pond
8.    Medical facilities for dogs

With the introduction of this dog park, pet owners in Noida will have a dedicated space to enjoy outdoor activities with their beloved pets while availing a range of specialized services and amenities.
