Dwarka: Although the new coronavirus cases have gone down significantly in the city, people still need to be vigilant and exercise precautions against the deadly virus. In this direction, the police and RWA together will make people aware in Dwarka.

On Wednesday, a meeting of RWA officials along with other prominent people was held in a Dwarka police station. In this, the instructions given by Shankar Chaudhary, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka District were discussed.

Shankar Chaudhary said, “Every colony would be sanitised regularly. The SHO of the concerned police station will also inform about this through mail every Friday. It is mandatory to follow the instructions of the health  department. People will be made aware in this direction.”

If people do not follow the rules, action will be taken against them. The police officer has asked the RWA officials to make people aware about vaccination. Also, be it a vegetable seller or a seller of goods on street vendors around the colony, all of them also have to be made aware.

Ramesh Mumukshu, Former Secretary of RWA said, “During the meeting, it was also decided that banners, posters have to be put up in the colony premises so that people can become aware. During the meeting, officials of various RWAs of Dwarka and SHO of Dwarka North police station, Bijendra Singh were present.”

Keep in mind that there is only one way to avoid corona and that is strict following of the Covid-19 guidelines. Together we can keep ourselves and everyone safe from Covid. This was discussed thoroughly during the meeting.
