Noida: The Greater Noida Authority on Wednesday started hearing public grievances at its temporary office in Greater Noida West. On the first day, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Greater Noida Authority Narendra Bhooshan visited the office.
A team of Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) met the CEO and discussed issues prevalent in the area. They apprised the CEO about the problems commuters face during evening hours at Gaur City roundabout and demanded an underpass at the location. CEO Bhooshan aid that the authority is serious on the matter.
NEFOWA team requested for a stadium and Ramlila ground in Greater Noida West. They suggested a location for the stadium. CEO Bhooshan instructed his team to inspect the place and submit its report. The CEO also instructed his team to earmark a space for Ramlila ground.
Further, the NEFOWA team also raised the issue of rising population and paucity of cremation spaces at Greater Noida West. The team of NEFOWA added that there is very little space for cremation near Hindon river.
Responding to the concern, CEO Bhooshan asked his team to make a new CNG crematorium in the area. He assured that work for developing a new crematorium will start soon.
Abhishek Kumar, President of NEFOWA said, “The CEO heard all the issues with a positive mindset. He has been requested to visit the area again soon and discuss the progress of work. Builder related issues were also shared with the CEO. The authority is very positive for the development of Greater Noida West.”
