To prepare this salad, all you need is brown sugar, cranberries,  cinnamon, vanilla essence, cream cheese and low-fat yoghurt. Toss all the ingredients together and serve it fresh. The best part about this healthy recipe is that you can have it anytime and in any season. You can try a variation of this salad by adding more fruits or vegetables of your choice to it.

Ingredients:

8 large apples
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoon cinnamon
280 gm cream cheese
2 pinch salt
4 cup walnuts
2 cup cranberries
2 teaspoon vanilla essence
230 g low-fat yoghurt
2 cup lettuce leaf

Recipe:

Step 1- Wash and chop apple and lettuce in separate bowls. Cut the walnuts into chunks in another bowl and keep them aside until required.

Step 2- Next step is to prepare the yoghurt cream dressing. Take another bowl and mix cinnamon, salt and brown sugar in it. Add cream cheese, yoghurt and vanilla essence to the bowl and whisk it until smooth.

Step 3- Toss the fruits in this yoghurt cream dressing and serve to add the dressing to the big bowl of apples, lettuce and walnuts. Add cranberries and mix all the ingredients well for 2 minutes.  Refrigerate for some time and serve chilled.
