Dwarka: Days passed after rain but road remains in bad shape in Sector 8

Dwarka: The woes of residents living in Sector 8 in Plot A-37 to A-48, A block, Dwarka, do not seem to be coming to an end. It is a low-lying area and hence the residents are still facing waterlogging problems despite days have passed after the heavy rain.

Fed up with the apathy of the authorities and seeing no headway, the residents themselves arranged for bricks and mortar (malba) and got the road filled. They had already complained to the authority.

RS Goyal, who has a plot in Sector 3, said, “We are still facing acute problems. As the area is low-lying,  waterlogging is a consistent issue in this area. We all earnestly request the concerned authority to kindly take some immediate action on it.”

He also tweeted, “The water has drained but the condition of the road is in deplorable condition now. We residents have decided to put malba to raise the level of the road.”
