New Delhi: In a bid to ensure hundred percent vaccination, the District administration has announced a unique certification system to motivate the RWAs and other such resident bodies.

In a message floated by DM, South West District, Dr Naveen Agarwal in different residents’ whatsapp groups, he has appealed to RWAs to ensure hundred  per cent vaccination in the societies. The message reads,“In order to holistically encourage residents of South West District to come forward and make the vaccination campaign as a part of Government of India's Jan Bhagidari campaign successful, the District Administration, under the guidance of Dr Naveen Aggarwal, DM South West is going to announce a certification based system to certify RWAs and Societies of District South West that have attained full vaccination (double dose).”

Naveen Agarwal emphasised, “Under this system a three-tier certification system is envisaged. RWAs with 100% of their residential population vaccinated would be given  Bronze Standard, the Silver Standard would be given to RWAs with 100% of their residential population as well as auxiliary staff stationed within the society complexes such as security guards fully vaccinated.”

As informed by the DM, those RWAs who would be with 100% of their residential population, auxiliary stationed staff as well as visiting staff such as maids being fully vaccinated would be given Gold Standard  “We want to make every person of the society vaccinated to defeat Covid. The District Administration wishes to award Gold, Silver and Bronze certification to 15 such societies by the end of November so that the pace of Vaccination rises and the entire South West attains its target of ensuring maximum coverage of both first and second dose of vaccination.”

He further informed All Dwarka Resident Federation (ADRF), being an umbrella resident body of District South West would be an instrumental partner in this endeavour of the District Administration.

DM added that “As you all know that in our fight against Covid-19 India recently achieved a milestone of 100 crore vaccinations, with our own  city Delhi itself attaining 2 crore vaccinations. While the vaccination programme is in full-swing, ensuring universal vaccination (cent percent coverage of all eligible population) remains a key challenge. Even more pressing is the challenge of making sure that second dose vaccine coverage is maximised.”

President of ADRF, Ajit Swami said on the innovative step from the administration, "We welcome the step of the administration and are in full support of it. We will be coordinating with RWAs across the city and  help the system to make hundred per cent vaccination in the area. The three standards would help a lot in encouraging the community people."
