The 7X Welfare team and the Noida Traffic Police, for the last 2.5 years has been continuously running campaigns in various intersections, villages and societies to create awareness on road safety every Sunday.

Members shared that on one hand accidents keep on happening in  India, on the other hand, people are not serious about traffic rules. According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, more than 30% of the deaths in India are due to the non-use of helmets or non-ISI helmets. Moreover, if we look at the statistics of death due to not wearing a seatbelt in the car, then it is about 14%. They added that it is a great opportunity for them to spread awareness on road safety.

They added that the team together made people aware in Kanchanjunga Market and took an oath that they will follow the traffic rules and make others aware too. We also distributed warm clothes in Neki Ki Dewar for needy people. The 7X welfare team also requested the citizens to donate warm clothes in their area and help the needy."

Another member, Durga Subramanyam Samridhi said, "I feel very glad to be a part of this team. Every Sunday our members create awareness drives on road safety. Now that winter is coming, our team distributed warm clothes to the needy people in Neki Ki Dewar, where a lot of children collected clothes with a huge smile on their faces."
