The Apartment Owners Association of Jaipuria Sunrise Greens Society located in Ahimsha Khand 1 of Indirapuram has been declared as lapsed by the Deputy Registrar. The City Magistrate, Ghaziabad has been authorized to conduct elections. In the letter issued by deputy registrar Arvind Kumar Singh, it is mentioned that the last election was held on April 14, 2019 and the term of then elected AOA has ended on 14 April 2020. Under the UP Apartment Act, the deputy registrar declared AoA as out of date and directed for immediate election.
In a joint statement given by the current AOA body, Covid 19 has been cited as the reason for the delay in the election.
