Vatika City: Successful RWA elections come as a relief for residents

Gurgaon: Residents of Vatika City finally heaved a sigh of relief when the elections to the Vatika City Apartment Owner Association (AOA) were successfully conducted by Lt. Col Aman Yadav. Satyavan Dagar was elected as the president of the society. Previously, Deputy Commissioner Yash Garg and District Registrar Sanjit Kaur appointed Lt. Col Aman Yadav as Election Officer, to hold a free and fair election.

People chose the option of change. The team that got a majority vote has Satyavan Dagar as President, Nirupama (Vice President), Rajneesh Anand (General Secretary), Manoj Kumar (Treasurer) and Sudhir Gupta (Joint Secretary). Rajneesh Khanna, Shankar
Sharma, Poornima Chhabra, Nikunj Gupta and Radha Vats were elected as executive
members.

Residents who had been facing problems like electricity, water, security, facade painting and maintenance participated enthusiastically in this election. Out of a total of 560, 433 people exercised their franchise, which is itself a record number in the history of Vatika City.

Satyavan Dagar, president of Satyavan Dagar Vatika City says, “The task of appointing an impartial election officer was not easy. But the Deputy Commissioner, on the request of District Registrar Sanjit Kaur appointed Lt Col Aman Yadav, whose role was highly commendable. For this, special thanks were given to the election officer, Deputy Commissioner and the District Registrar by all the senior citizens and residents."

Nitin Mehta, a resident of Vatika City says, “We as residents are extremely happy we got a new team elected to our RWA office through fair and transparent elections. We are hoping that the new team of RWA will work in a transparent manner with a right attitude and positive intent.”
