Cyber crime Police Station of Dwarka District inaugurated today

A Cyber Police Station in Dwarka has been inaugurated by Shankar Choudhary, Deputy Commissioner of Police. The cyber crime Police Station is established at the premises of Police Station Dwarka North by dismantling the Cyber Cell/DWD, which was previously functioned at the office of Dy. Commissioner of Police Complex, Sec-19 merging the same strength in CPS.

The Cyber Police Station has been launched in view of increasing cyber crimes in the district as per the guidelines of PHQ. It would conduct investigations on complaints such as online fraud, social media crimes etc. Apart from investigation cases, it would continue to provide technical assistance to cases registered in other police stations too.

This Cyber Police Station has been formed to investigate serious cybercrimes like data fraud, hacking of bank account, and serious social media crimes. People can file complaints regarding cybercrime and the First Information Report shall be registered at Cyber Police Station.
