The administration of Gautam Buddh is all set to fight the rise the Covid cases in the district. In a meeting held recently by DD RWA (District Development Resident Welfare Association), several points were discussed on how the challenge of rising of Covid can be tackled.

In addition other issues concerning the residents were also discussed such as strengthening of the security system of sectors, sanitation, and cleanliness of sectors of Noida and Greater Noida.

In the meeting, it was discussed to set up a 'war room' for Covid patients. The essential items such as face mask, gloves, sanitiser, PPE kit, oxygen concentrator, oxygen cylinder, essential medicines among others will be arranged by DD RWA.

It was decided that the DD RWA team would visit Noida, Greater Noida and Greater Noida West from time to time to distribute medicines, face masks, and essential items among the residents. DD RWA will also organize vaccination camps of Covid-19  in collaboration with RWAs of Noida, Greater Noida and Greater Noida West for children between age group of 15-18 years and for senior citizens.

To this, Sanjeev Sharma, Vice president of DD RWA says, "Any RWA willing to set up a camp in their sector can select a day and inform us. With the help of the administration, we will organize camps in that sector."

On the security system of the sectors, DD RWA has decided to organise regular meetings of the RWAs of Noida and Greater Noida with SHO and ACP of respective areas.

NP Singh, President of DD RWA says, "The issue of coming up in the ranking of cleanliness survey was also emphasized and discussed in our meeting. DD RWA will work with the residents of all the sectors to maintain the cleanliness and spread awareness."
