Galaxy Vega Apartments: AoA to organise free vaccination camp

GreNo: The Galaxy Vega Apartment Owners Association is organising a free Covishield vaccination camp on January 30, 2022 in the society premises, with the helping hand of 'Sankalp', a rising Uttarakhand Foundation and 'Doctors for you', a social organization. The timing of the camp will be from 11:00 am to 02:00 pm.

This camp will be held only for people above 18 years of age. To make it smooth and hassle-free, the association has requested the residents to register themselves and others with the help of a google form link. This will be an individual registration process. Residents have to register themselves by 5 pm on January 29, 2022.

Hemchand Tewari, AoA President says, "With the help of 'Sankalp' and 'Doctors for You', we are organizing this camp again. This camp is not for our society's residents only. Any resident of nearby housing societies can also register themselves with the help of the given link. First dose, second dose and booster dose, all doses will be available for the residents."

While providing more information about the camp, Gagan Rusia, Secretary of the society AoA says, "Last time, we organised a paid vaccination camp. However, this time it is totally free. If it is your second dose, please carry dose 1 certificate and if it is booster dose or precaution dose, please carry dose 2 certificate. Soft or hard copy, both will be acceptable. Please carry your PAN or Aadhar card identification. We request everyone to get themselves vaccinated and encourage their domestic help to do the same."

Such camps have been helpful for people who have been finding it difficult to get slots for their doses. Bhuvesh Joyal (38), a resident of the society says, "As we all know that the private hospitals have so many pending lists, such camps come in handy. Last event was also helpful for us. My wife  and I will register ourselves for the second dose with the help of the link."
