Indulge in Old Delhi street food before the summers kick in

With Covid related restrictions easing and winter still making its presence felt in Delhi, a lot of people thought it to be a good idea to indulge in some famous street food in Chandni Chowk. This is what our trigger-happy photographer Jagmohan Rawat found out during a recent visit to this old part of the city.

Food lovers were found enjoying the famous (and deep-fried) paranthe from the Paranthe wali gali, crispy kachori with aloo sabzi, thick syrupy jalebis, steaming bhature with chhole, spicy fruit chaat and the effervescent daulat ki chaat. The street food vendors wore a busy look as they dished out their preparations to the food lovers.

With the winter sun shining bright, a visit to the Chandni Chowk to try these quintessential old street food seems quite appropriate. So, we wish you happy snacking!
