Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore's new trailer out

The makers of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore have released new posters and a second trailer as the film approaches its release date. In the new trailer released on Monday, Warner Bros teases a return to Hogwarts. It also shows a takedown of Gellert Grindelwald, the powerful dark wizard played by actor Mads Mikkelsen, who took over th role of Johnny Depp after he left the franchise.

The trailer was supposed to drop last Thursday (February 24), but it was postponed for unknown reasons. The wait was well worth it for Harry Potter fans, as the film delivers more long-awaited magical action.

The announcement was made in a video featuring Law as he spoke about why he enjoyed playing Dumbledore and offered a teaser of what to expect in the new movie.

In his attempt to seize control of the wizarding world, Grindelwald is wreaking havoc. Professor Albus Dumbledore, his former friend, is the only one who can stop him (Jude Law). Due to a blood pact, they made years ago not to fight each other, Dumbledore teams up with magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead wizards, witches and a muggle (Dan Fogler) against Grindelwald's followers.

Harry Potter fans speculated whether the new film would be successful after seeing the first trailer and poster.

JK Rowling, the film's controversial creator, is given multiple credits in the trailer. The film's co-screenwriter and producer were left out of the previous trailer. The author is listed in the end-trailer credits, and there is a prominent "From JK Rowling" title card in this one.
