New movies and shows releasing on Hotstar this March

This month is definitely going to be exciting as there are several releases lined up on Disney Hotstar. The platform already has a plethora of shows and movies to choose from and to add to the list, there will be several new movies and shows released in March. Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, March 4

The Ajay Devgan starrer movie is his web debut and is a dark and complex story that delves into the minds of brilliant criminals and the detective who pursues them. Aside from Ajay's intense and fierce cop persona, the movie stars Raashi Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, and the riveting psychological crime drama Ashish Vidyarthi and Satyadeep Misra in pivotal roles.

West Side Story, March 2

Oscar-winner Steven Spielberg's 'West Side Story' is a classic tale of fierce rivalries and young love in 1957 New York City. Forbidden love between Tony (Ansel Elgort) and Maria (Rachel Zegler) and the hatred teenage gang- Jets and Sharks have for one another.

The Dropout

'The Dropout,' a thriller series starring Amanda Seyfried as Elizabeth Holmes, is a story of ambition and fame gone horribly wrong. Elizabeth Holmes develops healthcare technology that puts millions of patients at risk and loses everything in the blink of an eye. In addition to Hulu, the series is available on Hotstar in India.

Weekend Family (Season 1), March 9

Fred, a middle-class physician, spends every weekend with his daughters Clara, Victoire, and Romy. However, things change when a young lady named Emma joins this happy family and Fred falls in love with her. 'The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder' a sequel to the critically popular series 'The Proud Family', following freshly 14-year-old Penny Proud and her Proud Family as they navigate modern life with humour and compassion. Penny faces new hurdles in the coming year, including a socially aware neighbour who feels she has a lot to teach her, aggressive social media gurus who want to cancel her, and her own adolescent hormones.

Moon Knight, March 30

Moon Kight is a Marvel Studios miniseries that will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on March 30 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Moon Knight is a Marvel comic character who appears in the series. This six-episode series will take the Marvel Cinematic Universe on a darker path.

Disney and Pixar's Turning Red animation movie will release on Disney+ Hotstar on March 11. This movie is about a 13-year-old girl Mei Lee, who is torn between living with her mother's obedient daughter and the confusion of her youth. Whenever she gets too enthusiastic, she turns into a giant red panda.
