Saras Aajeevika Mela, which started on February 25, 2022, will last for two more days, ending on March 13, 2022. As the fair is coming to an end, a discount of 10 to 30 per cent has been given on the sale of products of different states. In the last few days, the footfall in the fair have increased and are the sales have also increased, owing to the discounts. buyers are buying in bulk taking advantage of the discounts.

Hand made products by women's groups from different states across India have remained the popular choice among the residents of Noida. People are also rushing towards food stalls of different states to get a taste of authentic cuisines.

However, its not only the food and shopping that people are enjoying at the fair. Several programs featuring music and dance of different states in the evening are also a popular attraction among the residents of Noida. All the arrangements in the fair are under the supervision of the officials of the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. While officials of the Union Ministry of Rural Development are also visiting the fair from time to time.

Leena Johri, Additional Secretary and Finance Adviser, Union Ministry of Rural Development also visited the fair. Along with her, Assistant Director of National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Chiranjilal Kataria, Dharmendra Singh, Research Officer Sudhir Kumar Singh, Ram Gopal and Suresh Prasad among others were present. Zimbabwe's Counselor MS Nomuramugwambi also visited the fair, while counsellors from other countries are also expected to visit.

The fair features stalls from different states offering authentic food, clothes and craft. Shiv Shankar Self Help Group from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh have amazing pickles, papads and spices. People are loving the woodwork paintings and Bandhani clothes. The stall of Nabanita Group of Assam offering bags, trays, cups and home decor made of bamboo have become popular among the residents. Stalls by Navikiran Self Help Group of Punjab and  Prajapati Swanirbhar Gosti Group of West Bengal are selling traditional and beautiful clothing.

Suresh Prasad, Assistant NIRDPR says, "Out of 300 stalls, we have given 160 stalls to the SHG's and have divided this whole fair in 3 sections. One is for handloom, second for food stalls and third for handicrafts. Our motive is to give them a marketplace in the Saras Aajeevika Mela."

Ekta Sharma, a resident of New delhi visited the fair with her friends to celebrate her birthday. She says, "I am enjoying my birthday here. My friends and I are government teachers and after working for the full day, we have come here to enjoy and celebrate the day. There is so much here to experience and all of us are having a great time."
