The famous Saras Aajeevika Mela 2022 is going to be organized in Noida from February 25, 2022, to March 13, 2022, with lots of added attractions, traditions, art and culture. So if you missed out on the previous haats, bookmark your calendars. The haat will be organized at Noida Shilp Haat in Noida sec 33.

Charanjit Singh, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Rural Development natural food items said that thousands of products from more than 25 Indian states across the country will be displayed and sold during the Saras Aajeevika Mela.

At this haat, you will find handloom, sarees and dress materials from all across India. Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh, Mekhla Chadar from Assam, Cotton and Silk from Bihar, Kosa Sarees from Chhattisgarh, Bharat Taser and Patchwork from Gujarat, Tasar Silk and Cotton from Jharkhand, Pashmina from Kashmir among other traditional fabrics.

Along with this, you can also look at pearl Jewellery from Andhra Pradesh, Water Hyacinth Hand Bags and Yoga mats from Assam, Lahki Bangles from Bihar, Madhubani Paintings and Sikki Crafts from Belmetal Products, Chhattisgarh, Sabai grass Products, Patachitra Anpalmaliev Leather Bags from Odisha and Telangana among many products.

The haat comes under the campaign of the Ministry of Rural Development to help Indian craftsmen start their employment again after Corona.

Apart from fabric and home decor, the Indian food court, with a group of 80 entrepreneurial housewives from 18 states across the country will be a main attraction in the Saras Ajeevika Mela. Food stalls dealing in dry Indian snacks like Ginger tea, lentil coffee, papad, apple jam and pickle more will be available.

The event will be organized keeping Covid-19 protocols in mind. Face masks will be available free of cost to those entering the fair and social distancing will be followed.
