7X Welfare, an association driven towards making the streets of Noida safer, is holding road safety campaigns every week in different sectors. In this week's drive, people were made aware of wearing helmets, and not to throw dirt and garbage on the roads. The awareness drive was conducted at the Hanuman Murti Road Sector 78 with the help of the Noida Authority and Traffic Police.
Along with road safety, this week's campaign focussed on keeping the roads clean. As per 7x Welfare, keeping the city clean includes individual efforts on everyone's part. Keeping the city neat and clean is necessary to keep away from diseases.
As per the 7X Welfare team, if we keep our roads clean, accidents can be prevented. Often encroachment on the roads becomes the cause of the accidents, whether it is a paan shop, vegetable and fruit carts. The team feels that if this encroachment can be managed, then accidents can be reduced.
During the drive, people took an oath to follow the traffic rules and work towards cleanliness. Shopkeepers and the public around the area gave their support to the cause.
Yashpal Choudhary with his team from Noida authority, Rakesh Yadav from the traffic police and traffic volunteers were present at the awareness drive.
Brajesh Sharma, founder of 7x welfare informed CitySpidey, " We will keep holding such campaigns in future too to make Noida safe, clean and a happy place to live, and soon we will cover whole Noida in our drive."
