Let your feet do the talking, but first, take care of them!

Skincare has now become more than just cleaning your face, it now includes several steps of cleansing and moisturising and is about taking care of your entire body. However, one body part that doesn't enjoy as much attention as it should are your feet. If you do not look after your feet from time to time, they can lead to cracks, irritation, difficulty in walking and even bleeding in extreme cases. This worsens with time and age. So, to prevent such complications and keep your feet soft here, we bring you to step by step foot skincare routine.

Keep your feet clean: Clean your feet every day properly with water and soap. To avoid infection, remember to dry the gap between your fingers after washing as it can lead to fungal infections.

Scrub it: Often with ageing, your feet's skin starts getting dry and rough. So to keep your feet soft and smooth, scrub them twice or thrice a week gently. Regular scrubbing helps an individual remove hard and dead skin from the feet. You can try to scrub off tough skin from your feet with a pumice stone.

Cut the nails: Try not to increase the length of your nails a lot as they are responsible for collecting dirt and fungal infection. Cut your nails regularly to avoid infection and even if you grow them, keep them clean and groomed

Moisture them: Crack heels can lead to pain and bleeding. Therefore, nourish your ankles with a gentle amount of moisturiser after washing every day. Make sure the moisturiser is not too oily, it can cause slip and stick dirt to feet.

Use proper socks and shoes: Try to opt for comfortable socks and shoes that help to feel your feet comfortable. The cloth of socks must be breathable else it can lead to moisture and result in fungal infection. Make sure your shoes fit you perfectly and are comfortable.
