Greater Noida: The women of SWAG (Super Women's Athlete Group) team won the hearts of the people in Greater Noida with a cricket match organised by Decathlon, Gaur City mall on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
Super Women's Athlete Group divided its twenty members into four groups: Shakti, Prerna, Dharohar, and Udaan. In round 1, team Shakti and Prerna played, and on the other side, team Udaan and Dharohar fought to play the final round. Each team consisted of 5 players and bowled six overs.
The final match was between team Udaan and Shakti. In this enthusiastic match, team Shakti won the match and team Udaan became runner-up. Both teams were felicitated by certificates and trophies.

Barnali Mahela, member of team Shakti, “I was so happy because my team won the match. We all were excited about the event. With the help of our good ground fielding, team Udaan was able to build 12 runs only in six overs and we made 13 very easily.”
Bhawna Gaur, President of the SWAG team says, “I was in team Prerna but as the president of the SWAG team, it was my duty to conduct a friendly match. This cricket match was only for one day but the SWAG team is forever.”
Shweta Banga (38), member of team Udaan, “It was a wonderful experience for me. Such activities help allow us to display our skills. I hope more such activities are organised in the future."
Pallavi (32), captain of team Dharohar says, “I loved my role as the captain of the team. It was great to get involved in some keenly contested games of cricket. All the participants and the organisers must be congratulated for pulling off such an inspiring event."
