Indirapuram: Residents discuss civic issues with the Police

Indirapuram: Indirapuram is grappling with issues like traffic, residents' safety and poor infrastructure. To discuss these prevalent issues, on April 23, 2022, Federation of Apartment Owners Association (FEDAoA) organised a meeting between the Ghaziabad Police and AoA of Saviour Greenile Society, Indirapuram.

In the meeting, civic issues like growing crime in the area and regular traffic jams were discussed. Sanjeev Chaudhary, President of Saviour Greenile Society says that in the outer circle area of Indirapuram, the road gets blocked due to traffic jams regularly. Apart from that, there is also the issue of unauthorised parking.

As per residents, there are dark patches in Indirapuram which encourage crimes such as chain snatching. Due to this, several residents hesitate to go out, especially after dark. Residents say that that it is the duty of Crossing Infrastructure private limited to install street lights but nothing of that sort has been done yet. Also, this is not the first time people have raised the issue.

The residents of Saviour Greenile Society have also been demanding a boundary wall around the society, however, as per them, CIPL has not paid heed to this as well.

The residents have requested the police to maintain law and order in the region and to look into the matters discussed in the meeting.
