This year, India has been named the Festival's Country of Honour for the first time. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Pooja Hegde, AR Rahman, Deepika Padukone, Urvashi Rautela, and other Indian celebrities will be representing the country this year. Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone has returned to Cannes this year, but as a jury member rather than an attendee. The actor will serve on the main jury of the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. Deepika Padukone wore the timeless charm of six yards and walked the red carpet in a Sabyasachi saree at the prestigious film festival, making another striking sartorial statement. Deepika Padukone wore an all-sequined saree with black and gold stripes inspired by the majestic Bengal tiger. According to Aakash Tara's collection, the saree "celebrates heritage Indian crafts and techniques through a modern lens,". She completed her ensemble with a jewelled headband, chunky rings, and ornate earrings. The actress added a hearty dose of drama to her Cannes look with bold black eyeliner.
