New Delhi: The results of the recently held elections in the Press Club of India on 21 May 2022, are out. As per the results, the panel led by senior journalist Umakant Lakhera has won all the 21 seats which include the executive committee members. According to these results announced on 22 May 2022, senior journalist Umakant Lakhera has once again been elected as President of 'Press Club of India'.

Apart from this, Manoranjan Bharti has been elected as Vice President, Vinay Kumar won the post of Secretary-General, Chander Shekhar Luthra won the post of Treasurer and Swati Mathur won the post of Joint Secretary.

Among the journalists who have won for the 16-member managing committee are Adesh Rawal (Lokmat), Amit Panday (News 24), Amrita Madhukalya (Deccan Herald), Anish Kumar (Asianet Newsable), Kritika Sharma (The Print), M. Abdul Bari Masoud (Dialy Salar), Manvender Vashist (PTI) , Mayank Singh (The New Indian Express), MD. Mahtab Alam (The Wire), Mihir Gautam (NDTV), Rahil Chopra (Network18), Sangeeta Barooah Pisharoty (The Wire), Shemin Joy (Deccan Herald), Telaprolu Srinivasa Rao (TV 5), Vinayak Bhushan Padmadeo (The Tribune), and Vineeta Thakur (All India Radio).
