Noida traffic policy: Autos running without permits to be returned from sec 62

Noida: The Noida traffic Police have made a new traffic policy to smoothen commutation. According to this, autos running illegally (without a permit) in Noida will now be returned from Sector 62. Apart from this, 5 pick and drop points have been set up in Noida for the smooth running of autos.

The traffic police have launched a campaign against auto drivers running without permit licenses and other documents in the city. As per Noida traffic Police, some autos from Ghaziabad and other districts were plying in Noida without permits. The influx of autos on the road resulted in traffic jams and inconvenience for the commuters.

Rajeev Sharma, RWA President Rajat Vihar, Sector-62 says, "Autos run in Noida without a permit. They charge as much as they want and sometimes, quarrel with residents too. There are many autos and E-Rickshaws which run illegally in the city."

According to police officials, after following this plan, the running of autos will be smooth. This will also avoid jams and encroachments on the road.

Autos will stand in a queue at the pick and drop points. Along with this, autos will be immediately available for the passengers. Thus, passengers travelling in an auto will not face any problems.

The five pick and drop points have been set up at sector 34, Botanical Garden, Surajpur, and sector 62 for the district. The auto union has been assigned the responsibility of ensuring that autos stand in an organized queue.

We reached out to C P Mishra, traffic inspector, Noida. He says, "Only NCR permit autos can enter Noida and those with numbers 'UP 14'. Autos running without a permit will not be able to enter beyond Model town Sector-62. Noida traffic police will start strict checking in the sector-62 model town golchakkar road soon."

As gathered by news reports, DCP Traffic Ganesha said that the traffic police are trying to improve the circulation of the autos in the city. The autos from Ghaziabad that are illegally moving to Noida can be curbed under this arrangement.
