Municipal Corporation of Delhi held a public interaction programme “Samvad se samaadhan, Nigam aapke dwar” under its Jan Sunwaai initiative in Keshav Puram Zone on June 5, 2022, to resolve the grievances of citizens in a timely and effective manner.

Zonal Deputy Commissioner, Naveen Aggarwal informed that a Whatsapp complaint no. 9310711685 has been launched where residents of Keshav Puram Zone can file municipal works related complaints. He further said that Nodal officers for each ward have been appointed in the Keshav Puram Zone for redressal of complaints at the local level.

As gathered, during this interactive session, residents complained about the upkeep of parks, stray dog and cattle menace, encroachment and maintenance of footpaths.

Naveen Aggarwal informed that in the absence of public representatives, Keshav Puram Zone has initiated a public interaction programme with the residents of the Zone with the title “Samvad se samaadhan, Nigam aapke dwar”. He said that under this initiative, a programme was held in two wards of Keshav Puram Zone, Pitampura and Keshavpuram.

‘Such interaction with the public is also a signal to the field level functionaries to act promptly and effectively on the complaints received from the area residents." he said.
