The much awaited Brahmastra’s trailer is finally out and it’s full of special effects, romance, drama and an epic story waiting to be told. What makes this trailer even more special is that it is bringing the newlywed couple Alia and Ranbir together on the big screen for the first time.
Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra has been in making for almost 10 years, in his own words. Seems like all the hard work is going to pay off as the film is all set to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022. The wait of all the fans will also end as it has been four years since it was announced and seven years since we heard about it.
Ayan Mukherjee had the idea of this triology since he was shooting for Wake Up Sid. Since then, Ayan started working on the project and finally, after the decade, his dream project is turning into a reality. The film features an ensemble startcast consisting of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and Shahrukh Khan, who has an extended cameo in the movie.
The trailer talks volume about the film, the trilogy. It talks about how air, water and fire are the three astras which make Brahmastra. This is the tale of the Brahmastra, the supreme ruler of all the Astras, and the young man who must learn that the fate of the Brahmastra depends on him. Shiva, on whom the entire world is dependent, meets a girl named Isha and thus kickstarts their love story. But their world is turned upside down because Shiva learns that he has a mysterious link to the Brahmastra and a great power within him that he doesn't understand just yet - the power of fire.
The trailer will take you on a new journey full of mysterious powerful weapons and mythology, where Shiva gets placed into the world of Astras and, in turn, uncovers his destiny as the divine hero of the universe with Isha along her side.
This will be the first time that Bollywood is giving such a movie with larger-than-life visuals, special effects. The Astraverse, India's first original cinematic world, begins with this film.
