BTS announces indefinite hiatus in an emotional vlog

Beloved band BTS has bid farewell to their loyal fans. The 28 Golden Disc award winner revealed the news in a video. They mentioned that they are taking an indefinite hiatus to focus on their individual careers.

What was supposed to be a fun festive dinner for BTS members, and their ARMYS turned into a very emotional event as the K-pop stars revealed they would be taking a break from the band. A day after their ninth anniversary, the band's members Jin, Jimin, RM, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jungkook convened for a pre-recorded dinner that was live-streamed on YouTube. They reflected on their past over the first hour of the conversation, and at its conclusion, they discussed the course their band will currently pursue. South Korean pop group BTS announces a break and says they'll "return sometime."

The South Korean economy has significantly benefited from the seven-member BTS band. To pursue their separate careers, the South Korean pop group BTS announced on Tuesday that they would be on an "indefinite hiatus," but they pledged they would "return eventually." The group's seven members are recognised for helping the South Korean economy by producing billions of dollars. The nine-year-old trio made it plain that they will stay together and would not break up.

The news left their fans teary-eyed; many armies posted their feelings and how their heart would break to not see BTS together for some time.

The dinner was held at BTS's former residence, where they lived as a group before going their separate ways. The family gathered there one final time to share their fond recollections of the home because its lease has now expired. Suga, aka Min Yoongi, commented, "7 boys living together isn't easy," when asked how many years they had lived together. They have become closer since moving apart, according to Kim Taehyung, aka V.

The dinner soon turned severe when Yoongi, the second oldest member, said they should discuss their hiatus. As the team leader, Namjoon (RM) started by explaining that he, as a member, has been feeling misplaced and directionless for a while now. "I feel lost. After releasing Butter and Permission to Dance, I started feeling that I didn't know what kind of a band we were anymore. What kind of music do we want to make? What do we want to say? I believe we should have taken this break long ago, but we kept putting it off."

"I've always thought BTS was different than other groups," he continued. "But the problem with K-pop and the whole idol system is that they don't give you time to mature."

"You have to keep producing music and doing something, I've changed as a human over the past 10 years, so I needed to think and have some alone time," RM said.

Jimin, 26, said, "We can't help but think of our fans no matter what. We want to be the kind of artists that are remembered by our fans. I think now we're starting to think about what kind of artists we each want to be remembered as by our fans."

Min Yoongi said, "Writing lyrics is the hardest. What message do we want to give? Nothing comes out anymore."

The band felt they needed to take a sabbatical to rediscover their identity and focus. They will also begin working on their separate projects, starting with J-Hope, who is scheduled to perform as a solo act at the Lollapalooza music festival.

Junkook, the group's baby, said something mature that brought a lot of praise for his Hyung "I promise we will return someday, more mature than now. Till then, we ask for your blessing."

At the end of the video, all the band members are seen wiping tears from their eyes while RM, at the last of the ceremony summing up their all achievements together, said, "This new chapter of BTS, that is yet to come, will be the best, I hope."

BTS, the Bangton boys, had faced a lot of up and down throughout their musical journey. They faced racism and hatred from the people worldwide and were called girls for wearing makeup and having different styles sense. But they did not lose their hope. Now they are the leading name in South Korea in bringing their culture, especially introducing K-Pop, to the world. Their songs, butter, and permission to dance were on top of the billboard charts and won numerous awards. Now BTS is the leading name in the world of music.

As fans stare at reality without BTS, they are emotional and broken. Yet, the loyal ARMY hopes the boys will find their direction and return stronger with new surprises.
