Dwarka: Dwarka Xpress Runners is a group formed by few marathoners in Dwarka. While in 2017, when the group was formed, it only had five members. However, today it is one of the biggest running groups in Delhi NCR.

Also popularly known as DXR group, it is led by Sanjay Panghal, an avid runner who has run more than 22000 kilometers in the last five years. He has also won several accolades and trophies for participating and winning in marathons. Along with Sanjay Pangal, Ajeet Kumar co-founded the group. Ajeet started running in 2016 and once ran a marathon of 92 kilometers in twelve hours in Chandigarh.

With more than 200 members, the DXR group has people from age groups and social backgrounds. The group has made a DXR Hydration Point, a free daily hydration spot on Dwarka sec 18 golf course road for all the DXR group runners.

Amongst various marathons wins, DXR group recently also won the Inter Group Championship, Potpourri and excelled at the 100 days of fitness challenge. Potpourri challenge was held in Dwarka on May 29, 2022 and multiple groups across Delhi NCR participated in the same. Out of everyone, DXR group championed the competition.

While addressing the recent victory of the DXR group, Sanjay, the co-founder of the group, says that DXR Group is not only a running group in Dwarka, instead it’s one big family of more than 200 people. He says, "We not only have professional runners and fitness trainers in our group but we also have small kids, older people, who are young by heart. We run together and celebrate several occasions just like a family."

Ajeet, the other co-founder of the DXR group, emphasizes that once you get started with running and work past the initial discomfort, running has some amazing benefits that improve your physical and mental health and well-being
