Dwarka: Delhiites and street food are practically inseparable. From chole kulche, gol gappa, dahi bhalla to pao bhaji and much more, the people of Delhi just love their street food. To get a taste of all these street treats, Delhiites can now head to Dwarka Street Fest going on at D21 Pacific Mall located at Dwarka Sector 21 metro station.
The fest, for this week, commenced on July 15, 2022 and will go on till July 17, 2022. It will resume on next weekend as well, from July 21, 2022 to July 23, 2022. People from across Delhi are very excited about this fest. On the very first day itself, the fest witnessed a huge footfall, attracting crown from all over the national capital.
The biggest attraction of this street fest is the Golgappa stall because of the variety of different flavours golgappa water such as sweet, sour, rose water, mint, asafoetida, garlic, amchur and orange among others Apart from this, people can be seen swarming the momo stalls as well.
Twinkle Sharma, 24, a resident of Dwarka sector 23 says, "I love street food and Puchkas's are my favourite. My family and I are totally loving this fest. With lots of street food variety, you can enjoy the music here too. Also, my niece loves the gaming zone so, there is something for everyone."
Deepak Thakur, 26, a resident of Pochanpur Village says, "Today is Sunday and I have come here with my family to enjoy the weekend. This is the best place to spend some quality time with your family after a long hectic week. Me my wife love eating street-style food so, we came here to try different variety of street food. I love dahi balla and tikki here and my daughter Jia loved pav bhaji."
Saroj Kataria, 35, a resident of Dwarka Sector 23, says " I love the food and variety of chaat, especially golgappa's. For the first time ever I have eaten orange flavoured golgappa here. Also, I mostly came here with my family during weekends to watch movies and enjoy the food here. A few weeks back we also saw the stand-up comedian show here and loved it."
