Noida: Nari Pragati Social Foundation NPSF, an organization working towards women empowerment and DDRWA Federation, Gautam Buddha Nagar organized an awareness camp for women at the children's park, sector 51 on July 18, 2022. The camp raised awareness of various government schemes available for women. More than 100 housemaids and working women attended the camp.

During the camp, the women were made aware of the importance of financial and social independence. Importance was laid on women's rights. Further, government schemes were discussed and helpline numbers for women's safety were provided.

Some of the schemes discussed at the awareness camp were Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, Destitute Women Pension Scheme, Banking Correspondent Sakhi Yojana, Chief Minister's mass marriage scheme, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana National Nutrition Mission, Shakti Mobile, Women's Help Desk, Women's Cyber ​​Cell, Women's Reporting Police chowki, and Mission Shakti Kaksh and Support to mother power. Apart from this, women were made aware of how to get the necessary documents made and how to open accounts in the banks so that the victim's family can take benefit from government schemes.

Sanjeev Kumar, Senior Vice President, DDRWA says, "I believe that the government introduces many schemes for the welfare of society especially women but these schemes do not reach them because of lack of awareness. As a result, weaker sections of society remain troubled throughout their life. Awareness of schemes becomes important in every case, especially in the families where the earning man/male person dies."

Ravi Kumar, Hamra and Meenakshi Tyagi, Founder of Nari Pragati Social Foundation, were present. N P Singh (President), Rajiv Kumar (Advisor), and Sanjeev Kumar (Senior Vice President) from DDRWA were also present. Moreover, Eminent social workers from Noida such as Manish Gupta and Vikram Sethi also joined the camp.
