Noida: The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the results of Class XII. Among the many students who have passed with flying colours is Diya Thapliyal, a class XII student of Cambridge School, Noida. She has scored perfect score of 100 marks in the subject of Entrepreneurship and brought laurels to the school and family. Diya Thapliyal is a student of Commerce and her overall percentage is around 92%.
A resident of Jal Vayu Vihar, Sector 21, Noida, Diya has studied from nursery till her 12th in Cambridge school. Diya's father, Manjul Thapliyal is a social impact consultant and active social worker and her mother, Dr Kavita Thapliyal is a professor at Amity University.
Manjul Thapliyal, Diya' father says, “It was tough for all the students this year. They had to give around four pre boards before the boards. Also, there were two board exams, one in November and the other in May. I am happy that my daughter gave her best and scored well."
Diya's grandfather Col. K N Thapliyal is retired from the army and is also her role model. Like her grandfather, Diya also wants to join the army or become an IAS officer to serve the country.
Diya says, "It took extra efforts to score good as 90% of classes were online, but exams were offline.” She is currently appearing in CUET for admissions to Delhi University. She is an 'A' certificate holder and Gold Medalist in NCC at school.
We asked how many hours she devoted to study for her 12th CBSE board exams, to which she says, “There were no fixed hours. But yes, I everyday sat for 4-5 hours dedicatedly to study.”
