Noida: Covid vaccination camp organized in Indian Oil society

A covid vaccination camp was organized for the residents of the Indian Oil apartment C-58/23, sector 62 on July 29 2022, from 10 am to 5 pm by the Department of Health, Gautam Budh Nagar, CMO in collaboration with sector-62 RWA.

Around 180 people, from different age groups( 15-18,18-48, 48 and above) girls, boys adults, and elders participated in the vaccination camp and took their second and booster doses. Both vaccines Covaxin and Covishield were administered.

RK Uperty, sector-62 RWA President, says, "People from all ages suffered a lot due to Covid in recent years. Everyone must take their vaccinations on time because Covid is still here, and kids and elderly people still need more precautions. I request everyone to wear a mask and take all necessary care."

Ajit Kumar Singh, a resident of the Indian oil apartment, says, "The RWA is very helpful in taking such initiatives. Two ladies were giving vaccinations and were very helpful as they were also going to the cars to give vaccinations to the elders."

Anil Garg, secretary of Flex apartment sector-62 says, "Everything was well organized, everyone was wearing masks, volunteers were volunteering the session and also making the working-class people aware. I have also taken my dose and am very helpful to the RWA."

Uperty also informed that the RWA has managed to arrange 23 more vaccination camps in sector-62 and also in various other sectors by the Health Department, Chief Medical Officer Noida  The RWA sector-62 is grateful to Health Department, Noida for providing these free vaccination camps.
