Noida- Grenowest societies gear up for Janmashtami

After two years of covid, finally, a wave of excitement can be seen among residents for festivals. Janmanshtami preparations are in full swing in GreNo West and Noida societies. Resident groups are planning special cultural events, Dahi handi games and much more to celebrate the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna.

Let us how these societies are planning their Janmashtami-

Ajnara Homes, Grenowest
Archana Lodhi, a resident of Ajnara Homes says, “We plan to celebrate Janmashtami traditionally. It will be celebrated in Shri Durga Mata Temple on Friday, August 19, 2022. After the evening aarti, there is a program of Bhajan Kirtan by the Mahila Mandal of the Society. After commemorating the birth of Shri Krishna, Prasad will be distributed at midnight."

Stellar Jivan, Grenowest
Pooja Arora, a resident of Stellar Jivan says that a complete vibrant is being organized for residents. "On August 19, 2022, there will be Dahi handi, a flute presentation by the artists, followed by the cultural night and celebration of Krishna's birth at midnight."

Hawelia Valencia Homes, Grenowest
Rahul Garg, a resident of Hawelia Valencia informs us a complete 2-day celebration is being by residents to mark Janmashtami. The celebrations would begin from 6:30 pm on August 18, 2022. "There will be activities such as a fascinating skit by children dressed in the disguise of Krishna-Radha from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. There will be soothing Shri Radha-Krishna Bhajan from 8 pm onwards which will conclude with the Shri Krishna Aarti and Bhog and Prasad distribution."

Nirala Estate, Grenowest
Anuja Bohra Garg, a resident of Nirala Estate informs says “We are very happy and our hearts are filled with joy, as the holy festival of Janmashtami has approached. This time the birth anniversary of Vasudev Shri Krishna will be celebrated with great enthusiasm on the temple premises. On the evening of August 18th, there would be a small program to commemorate the arrival of God. On August 19, there will be a Kirtan Bhajan by women and Shri Krishna birth at midnight."

Supertech Eco Village 2, Grenowest

Jyoti Jaiswal, a resident of Supertech Eco Village 2 says that the festival started with massive energy in their society. "At 6 pm there will be the biggest jhaaki of Lord Krishna, Balram, Radha, and gwalas. 250 small kids till 18 years old kids are practising for this day since the last month. They have prepared exclusive performances on 35 special songs. There will be a skit too."

Hyde Park, sector 78, Noida
Prem Negi, a resident of Hyde park informs us that Janmashtami is being celebrated with great pomp in our society. On this auspicious occasion, the following program will be organized on the temple premises on Friday, August 19, 2022. She says, "Bhagwat Katha will be recited on a grand level from 3 pm to 6 pm. The children's fancy dress show will be from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Bhajan Sandhya by Bhajan Mandali: and a tableau of Radha Krishna from 7:30 PM to 12 PM. Aarti and Prasad will be distributed at midnight."

Antriksh Golf View 2, sector 78
Shweta Bharti, a resident of Antriksh Golf View 2 informs us there would be a Janmashtmi celebration in the society that is being planned from 4 pm onwards from August 18, 2022. A shopping zone, food zone, kids zone, fancy dress competition, group dance competition, DJ and many more activities will be there. At midnight, various kinds of Prasad will be distributed, like fruits, makkan mishri, panchamrit, dhaniya panjiri, boora prasad and more.”

Express zenith, sector 77
The AOA of Express Zenith is organizing a Shri Krishna Janmashtami on August 19th. From 7 pm, there will be a cultural night which includes fancy dress programs, a live band, Krishna jhanki and bhajan sandhya. After that there will be a Bhandara, followed with Dahi handi, maha aarti and maha prasad."
