Dussehra and Durga Puja may be over, but the festivals have only started. With Karwa Chauth just around the corner, there is excitement among ladies. It also becomes an opportunity for community entrepreneurs in Dwarka to uplift their businesses. For this, Dwarka Moms, a social group from the sub-city organized a Diwali and Karwa Chauth exhibition in Radisson Blu, sector 13 Dwarka on October 8, 2022.

As entry was free for all, the exhibition saw good footfall despite the turbulent weather on the day. Around 60 stalls were set up on the second floor of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dwarka. It was organized to give a platform to all the entrepreneurs from Dwarka and Delhi to display their products and services. Here, one could find a range of organic goods, self-designed clothes, home decor and jewellery.

Designers from Dwarka and Delhi such as 'B-Iconic' and 'Shrisha creations' presented self-designed clothes at the exhibition. Although the clothes were beautiful, they were extremely overpriced. There were also ample home decor choices such as Madhubani handpainted works at the exhibition.

Among the most ingenious options at the exhibition were organic food products and cosmetics. An enterprise named 'The Bathing Co.' was selling handmade soaps whereas healing candles by Urvashi attracted the public.

Dr Aarti Bhalla from the Kitchen Factory offered holistic beauty and wellness products direct from her kitchen. She says, "I am proud that the products from my kitchen are now available to the world as cosmetics. Initially, I started making those products for myself and later my friends started asking for them, and they helped them.

Another enterprise 'Khetwaala' was offering healthy and organic food directly from their farm. Healthy cookies made with bajra and wheat were key products sold by them.

On the occasion, a talent show was also organized by Dwarka moms wherein ladies and kids performed. Moreover, the Dwarka beauty queen pageant, Glamourous power awards and a super doper tombola session. A professional setup was laid to facilitate the beauty pageant. People were beautifully dressed and it was hard to guess their age from their appearance. Live streaming of the event was done on their Facebook channel for the people who could not attend the function physically. It was overall a fun-packed exhibition organised by Dwarka moms.
