Dwarka- The vibrant festival of Karwa Chauth unfolded with beauty and grace in Dwarka. Women in the sub-city marked the festival with complete traditions and enthusiasm. They were seen dressed in ethnic clothes and jewellery as they fasted for the long life of their husbands. In the evening, women came together for the Karwa Chauth puja and performed the rituals together. Fortunately, the moon was clearly visible and appeared in time allowing the ladies to break their fast.
