Dwarka: The holy festival of Chhath was celebrated with great fervor and gaiety all across the sub-city of Dwarka. Not only those who hail from the Purvanchal region of India, but people who hail from states such as Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand and more participated in the festivities. The Chhath Puja celebrations in Dwarka was a cultural amalgamation.
In Dwarka, Chhath Puja was organised at many places such as Sector 11, Sector 15, Sector 8, Dada Dev Mela Ground, near sector 2 Dabri Road, Sector 14, Kakrola, Barat Vihar, Madhu Vihar, Sitapuri and so on. The Puja was organised inside residential societies as well in small groups.

This morning, on October 31, 2022, Chhath Puja concluded with people worshipping the sun god. The devotees offered their prayers with raw milk, ganga water, fruits and sweets to the Sun God. One of the biggest celebrations was held at the DDA land, near Sports Complex, Sector 11 by Dwarka Chhath Puja Samiti. People also celebrated the pooja in community groups inside the societies. RWAs and different Chhath Puja Samiti made arrangements of artificial ghats and other such facilities for the worship of the Sun God.
