Dwarka: Uneven road in Sector 9 causes inconvenience to commuters

Dwarka: The road outside Dwarka Sector 9 metro station is potholes ridden and waterlogged. The road has a depression in the middle which accumulates water that stays stagnant for days. Apart from causing problems to the commuters, it also acts as a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

This road is busy as it connects Ramphal Chowk market in Dwarka to the metro station. Still, the condition of the road is neglected.

While the water in the depression on the road has dried out, it has now left mud and soil in the spot, making it difficult for the commuters to use that area of the road. Apart from that, old trees have fallen on the roads. The footpath of that area is also covered with dust and dry trees.

Also, that area becomes a dark spot in the night as the street light there is very dim and dysfunctional most of the times. This attracts anti-social elements in the area in the night, making it unsafe for the residents of nearby areas.
