When it comes to cocktails, everyone has their own preferences. However, one drink that almost no once can deny liking is Sangria. A perfect combination of wine and fruits, Sangria is equal parts refreshing and tangy. The drink carries a long and rich history and comes from Spain and Portugal. The original recipe of Sangria includes fruits and spices mixed with wine to give a tangy and spicy taste. However, with time, several variations of the drink have emerged. You can also make your own version of Sangria for your Christmas house party this year. Here is a recipe for Sangria you can follow-

Ingredients required for Sangria-
For a good Sangria, you need to have a bottle of red wine or white wine. The wine doesn't need to be very expensive as it will be mixed with fruits and sugar and will not retain its original taste but it absolutely depends upon your budget and choice.

Seasonal fruits should be preferably used but not all fruits can go into Sangria. The fruits have to be juicy and fresh. You can use Oranges, apples, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple and cherries.

For sweetening the drink, you can add some orange juice, honey or sugar that depends totally on your choice.

Mix the sliced fruits, sugar, and lemon with the wine. Stir it well and added carbonated water (optional).

You can store Sangria in an airtight container in your refrigerator. Whenever you want, you can pour the drink, add some ice and serve it for a wonderful experience.
