Dwarka: RWA demands proper maintenance inside the society premises

Dwarka: The Resident Welfare Association (RWA) of Rosewood Apartments, sector 13 is demanding proper maintenance inside the society premises from Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Broken roads, chocked drains, cleaning and other such things related to civic amenities are in bad shape inside the society.

President of RWA, Prithpal Singh says, “Cleaning has been an issue for us as MCD staffs are not sufficient in number to look after. We are also having g our own staffs for cleaning purposes. This subject must be taken by the Corporation seriously.”

According to Singh, some other subjects like height of the boundary wall from gate number 2 to 4 and the replacement of damaged street light poles and repairing of roads are the issues pending for a long time.

“The internal roads need to be repaired and the boundary wall from one side is still at a low height. Other sides have been raised by the Corporation, but somehow another wall is still lower in height. We demand from MCD to complete the work,” he said.

RWA informed CitySpidey how the drains were damaged and needed maintenance and cleaning. They also demanded pruning of trees. General secretary Maninder Singh says, “Pruning has been pending for a long time. The drains are chocked and they were never cleaned. Corporation must look into these issues and do the needful soon.” Local Councillor Ram Nivas Gehlot assured to do the needful.
