Noida: With the pleasant weather and the energy of the new year, this is the perfect time to go on Picnics and attend fairs. 'Uttar Pradesh Sthapna Divas 2023' or 'Uttar Pradesh Establishment Day 2023' is being celebrated with art and cultural for three days . It is being organised at Shilp Haat, Noida sector 33A from 24 January to 26 January. Many artisans from all across the Nation are setting up exhibitions of the exclusive products in the celebration. The theme of the event is "Investment and Employment". The fair is open and free for all visitors. It opens at 11am in the morning, The music and cultural programme is being taken place from 6:30 pm onward.
As soon as you will enter Shilp haat the colourful decoration, traditional music and beautiful art pieces will leave you in awe. The gates are decorated with flowers and balloons. The first thing you will see as you will enter the haat is the framed photographs which will bring a glimpse of different parts of Noida.
Stalls have been set up by artists from different parts of India and world as well. You will find handloom made up of jute, hand-embroidered crafts, textiles, block printed, appliqué work, naturally dyed textiles, ceramics, metal crafts and glasswork, home decor items, carpets, handicrafts like Macrame, jewellery and so on. Some stalls are selling authentic snacks from different parts of India. Organic vegetables and food, products of Jaggery, dry fruits from Kashmir and organic honey with different flavours etc one can get there in stalls.
There are some stalls set up by the authorities to make community aware about different subjects. One of those stalls is on waste management, and a proper miniature project was displayed for a proper understanding of the common man.
Apart from the stalls, a huge stage is there set up for the cultural programme by the artists. A celebrity performance by Kailash Kher is being organised on January 25th at around 6:30 PM which you cannot afford to miss. A proper sitting arrangement has been made for the audience.
The huge area is covered properly with stalls, and stages. Wear shoes for a comfortable experience as you have to walk a lot. Make sure that you must not carry plastic or 'Gutka' as it is a 'Plastic and Gutka free Zone'.
