Dwarka: Republic Day and Basant Panchami celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervour in Dwarka yesterday, 26 January. People across the city celebrated both the occasion together inside the societies and also outside the societies’ parks or open area. Cultural events, sports events, puja and many other activities were part of the celebration.
Societies RWAs celebrated the occasion with unfurling the tricolour and organising cultural events. Community fest was also organised on the occasion.

Also, Sarswati puja was a part of the celebration at various societies mainly in those apartments where people from Poorvanchal or Bengal reside. People were seen in traditional yellow attire to mark the occasion of Basant Panchami.
