Dwarka: Kids Lead the Way in Composting at Peepal Apartments

Dwarka: A workshop on composting was organized by the RWA of Peepal Apartments in Sector 17E, Dwarka, with the support of the Rise Foundation, an NGO focused on sustainable development and environmental protection. The aim of the workshop was to promote a zero-waste society by managing waste properly and adopting composting.

Madhukar Varshney and Madhury Varshney from the Rise Foundation provided information on how to compost at home and on a community level. They demonstrated the process and presented how individual efforts could reduce the carbon footprint and protect the environment.

Many children from the society attended the workshop and interacted with the experts by asking questions on the subject. Madhukar Varshney appreciated the children's interest in the subject and said, "It is encouraging to see the children interested in composting as they are the future protectors of the environment."

The RWA of Peepal Apartments expressed its interest in promoting home and community composting. Rita Barua Nath, the President of the RWA, said, "We were enlightened by the workshop and are seriously considering adopting the concept. We will try our best to start composting soon.
