Himalayan Paradise builder cheats residents: add tower!

Greater Noida: In Greater Noida West, in Himalayan Paradise Society, the builder has constructed a two-storey building in the common area. Residents say that the builder has cheated us. The house was sold to us saying it had four towers and then another tower was added later. The residents have complained to the Greater Noida authorities about this. The residents have alleged that they have to walk an extra 100 meters every day because the builder has illegally constructed two floors on their pavement, blocking the passage of over 200 flats of the Himalayan Pride Society.

Naresh Nautiyal
A resident of the society says, "In 2012, we bought a house here. At that time, the builder told us that there will be four towers A, B, C, and D here. But in 2015, two more towers were built here. When we bought the flat, we were told it would be a common area, but slowly the construction went on."
He said the builder always told us that the area being built was a guest house that could be used for residents' weddings or other occasions, but now this two-storey building has been built and sold. Just like the twin towers were built.

He also said, "When we bought the flat here, there was no mention of Towers E. We came in through the green space. We came in and out through the green area where the builder had erected an illegal tower. To prevent us from walking through the area, the builder constructed gates and locked them, forcing us to take the longer route and walk 100 meters even after grocery shopping."

Mahendra Thapliyal
A resident of the Himalayan Pride Society, says, "In 2015, I informed the Greater Noida Authority about illegal constructions, but they told me that only you have the problem. If it was someone else, they would have complained too. After I did that, I was sent back and now this building has been built and sold."

Amandeep Duli
The ACEO of Greater Noida Authority says we have taken note of the matter and people have approached us with complaints. We have ordered an investigation. Action will be taken as per the rules.
