Green Circle Dwarka felicitated by DTEA on Earth Day

Green Circle Dwarka, a social organisation working on environment in the area was felicitated at an event organised by Delhi Tamil Educational Association, Mandir Marg on the occasion of Earth Day. The event on Earth Day was organised By DTEA in association with Green Circle in which members of Green Circle were felicitated.

Sanjay Kumar Bain, DCP Central District was present on the occasion as the chief guest. Students showcased various models on the sustainability of resources which impressed guests and parents. Cultural program was organised by the school children comprising of Gidha dance, Nukkad natak, Martial art demonstration and yoga performances. Jaya Prasad principal of the school specially thanked the efforts of Team Green Circle for introducing Eco bricks initiative under which many school children made bricks during the lockdown which were later converted into a structure at the school. Team Green Circle members gifted Eco bricks to the students and teacher in-charges who performed during the program as a token of love and encouragement. A special plantation drive was also organised on the occasion.

From Green Circle Romila Gandhi, Chitra Jain, Neha Bhutani, Saigal, Kaisan, Vishal Lall, Vijay Bhutani & Anurag Mohan were present at the event.
