Noida Authority Takes Action Against Illegal Kiosks in Golf City Society

Noida: The Noida Authority has taken action against more than two dozen illegal kiosks in Sector-75 Golf City Society, Noida, demolishing them and seizing the encroachers' belongings. The action was carried out by a joint team of the Noida Authority's planning, group housing, and work circles, and the police had to use mild force to disperse some of the vendors who opposed the team.

According to BS Nigam, senior manager of the planning department, the kiosks were illegally constructed in the society's commercial area, and the Noida Authority will continue to take action against such unauthorized construction.

Mallikeshwar Jha, the AOA President of Golf City Plot 8, stated that the builder had constructed 40 shops instead of the ten approved in the construction plans, and many vendors had encroached on the area, causing inconvenience to the residents. Despite several warnings from the AOA, the illegal shopkeepers did not listen, and their actions posed a threat to society's safety. Therefore, the AOA praised the Noida Authority's action, which will now allow residents to shop safely.
