Noida Authority Demolishes 10 Illegal Shops in Noida’s AIIMS Gardenia Society

Noida: A joint team of Noida Authority's Work Circle Six and Planning Department on Wednesday took action against AIIMS Gardenia builder located in Sector-75, Noida.

The action was taken on account of the complaint by the AOA. The officers of the Noida Authority demolished ten shops built inside the society by tampering with the layout plan. All the shops have been sold already.

The planning department team surveyed based on the layout and found the complaint was correct. Several times, the builder was asked to demolish the illegal construction on his own, but the builder neither responded to the notices nor cleared the encroachment of the shops.

In such a situation, the Noida authority took action against them a month ago, and time was given to vacate the shops by vandalising them so that the shopkeepers could remove their goods.

Yashpal Chowdhary, a junior engineer at Work Circle 6, said that eight shops were demolished with the JCB. Further action will be taken through labour as the towers of the highrise Society stand above the shops.

Naveen Mishra, AOA President of AIIMS Gardenia Society in Sector-75 Noida, said that the residents were struggling for some time to get rid of these illegal shops, and now finally, action has been taken.
